Salute to Service Luncheon Featuring Panel Discussions with Arizona Military Leaders
College Avenue Commons, Devils Oasis (second floor of Marketplace)
A panel of military leaders will discuss particular technological threats and evolving challenges to U.S. national security and our alliance system — but also the broader challenge of maintaining awareness among both elites and average citizens, nearly two decades after the 9/11 attacks, of the need for vigilant attention to American national security strategy and the resources needed to accomplish its main objectives. Arizona military senior enlisted advisers will define the nature of what it means to serve in the military today, and why that service and sacrifice matters to our nation at this pivotal moment in our country’s history.

I completed a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from the Pamplin School of Business at VT in 2009. This was 4 years before I joined the military so at the time I paid no attention to any of the support programs available to service members and veterans. Even though I have little experience with those programs I feel confident in speculating that their likely exceptional. I had a great experience at VT and felt it was a phenomenal school that I would absolutely recommend it to any veteran interested. If you attend class in person, you'll feel right at home walking next to a Cadet across the Drill Field past the War Memorial on your way to class. It is a well known school with strong Business, Engineering, and IT programs and these are well recognized by employers.
